Project Management
We install new BEMS systems, as well as upgrading your current system to BEMS. From design, procurement, manufacture to on-site installation - we handle it all. This includes commissioning & validation of HVAC control solutions & building management systems.

Freedom Controls Ltd takes pride in being the first Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) company in Ghana that also uses internationally recognised technology to provide installation and support coverage. It was established in the UK by Mr Frederick KE Kudom who has experience in numerous BEMS contracts across the UK.
We work extensively with our clients to understand their specific needs, provide the best service and most importantly, save energy costs. As well as an end to end service starting from design, to implementation to maintenance - we ensure that we are constantly optimising our systems and improving the way we work.

WHAT IS BEMS?
Organisations save up to 25%-35% of energy by the BEMS doing the following:
Using motion sensors to detect movement to control lighting in a building. Allowing access to engineers and management.
Collecting analysis on the temperature readings of the building, and detecting how long the building load was on for on a daily basis. Using fresh air instead of AC to create temperature comfort in a building.
Using a duty/standby system to increase the longevity of equipment such as fans and pumps. This decreases and prevents unnecessary maintenance costs.
Research shows that office buildings are the second most energy intensive and CO2 emitting building type in the commercial sector after retail, and 39 per cent of the energy they consume is waste. A BEMS can help to minimize this percentage of wasted energy because they provide transparency about an organisations’ energy consumption, and they allow organisations to monitor, reduce their energy usage and decrease their negative environmental impact.
